There are many different sources of images or pictures you can use to support your Easy English information.
Some you can get as freeware, and others you can purchase as subscription or pay for the set.
The important decision about which image/s to use is they must mean something to your audience. Some symbols have been developed by people overseas. Sometimes images will not
be relevant to an Australian context, however, there are still many very
useful images in their sets.
An example of freeware available is Sclera. http://www.sclera.be/en/vzw/home
An example of subscription or pay for the set is CHANGE symbols.
Contact me for more examples of image sets.
I will keep adding more examples on our Blog.

What is Easy English?
Easy English is a specialised means of writing for people with low literacy or non functional literacy.
Everyone should be able to access the information they need, in a way they can understand.
Easy English uses everyday words, in short sentences, with easy grammar, usually supported with images. This helps the reader to gain more understanding of the written information.
Interactive tasks within the text also helps the reader to gain further insight into the information.
