Facts sheets from Victoria Police in Easy English

Yesterday, in 2 areas of metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria Police started to provide receipts to people, when Victoria Police initiates the contact. You will get a receipt when there is no fine, or warning or arrest made.

This is a pilot project, which will run until 31 December 2015. In June, 2 further areas of Victoria will join the trial.

A short news story on ABC TV in Melbourne last night, explained the new Pilot Program of Victoria Police handing out receipts.

Access Easy English  wrote the fact sheets about “Receipts” and "Questions about  Receipts”. As soon as they are available on their website, I will put the link here. However, if you need them in the meantime, please contact Victoria Police.  This is the current link to FAQ's about Receipts
